RAUM — how it works

How RAUM turns Search Console Pages reasons into a live-verified P0/P1 Do-this board you can paste into a ticket.

What RAUM is

RAUM is a free tool that takes URLs plus their Search Console Pages reason, live-checks each URL, then maps the reason onto a fix class and a P0 / P1 / P2 priority.

You paste the export — RAUM does not connect to Search Console. Public HTTP only.

What it checks

  • GSC reason: the Pages report label you pasted (soft 404, noindex, not found, redirect, robots, crawled/not indexed, and so on).
  • Live status: what the page returns now (200, 403, 404, 410, 5xx).
  • Redirects: whether the URL ends somewhere else.
  • noindex: meta or X-Robots-Tag.
  • Canonical: self vs pointing elsewhere.
  • Thin / title cues when the reason is soft 404.

How we judge

Each row gets a fix class, a priority, and a Do-this:

  • P0 — soft 404, not found, robots block, server error: fix first.
  • P1 — noindex, redirect, canonical conflict, crawled-not-indexed, forbidden, or a mismatch between GSC and live.
  • P2 — alternate with proper canonical, or live page already looks fine.

If Search Console says one thing and the live page says another, RAUM flags a MISMATCH so you re-inspect instead of shipping the wrong ticket.

PASS is reserved for low-priority, no-action rows. P0 and P1 are FAIL — work to do.

How to run a check

  1. 01Sign in with your email — one-tap link, no password.
  2. 02Paste reason + URL rows from a Pages export (or load the nikkos.io example).
  3. 03Hit Run. RAUM live-verifies up to 50 URLs and builds the Do-this board.

For robots.txt reasons, RAUM will point you at VEXA for the detailed trap check.

Turning results into a ticket

Sort by priority. One fix class per ticket keeps the work clean.

  • Filter to P0, then P1.
  • Group by fix class so each ticket has one job.
  • Export CSV or selected URLs for the ticket body.

That's the whole idea: GSC reason in, live-verified board out.

Good to know

  • No Search Console OAuth — you paste the export.
  • Capped at 50 URLs per run.
  • Free forever. Email sign-in only.
  • Sibling tools: VEXA for robots traps, LOCRA for sitemaps, KNOT for canonicals, GATE before you request indexing.
