What the GSC Companion is
The GSC Companion is one NiKKOS interface at /tools/seo. One email magic-link opens every mode — it isn't a junk drawer of separate tools with separate logins.
You paste what Search Console is showing you. The modes go and check the live URL, then hand back something a team can pick up on Monday morning.
Nine modes, one cockpit
- STORY (default) — a Performance export becomes a plain-English story, with tickets that launch the other modes.
- LOCRA — every loc in a sitemap checked against live HTTP, PASS or FAIL.
- VEXA — robots traps on URLs flagged as indexed though blocked.
- RAUM — Pages export reasons turned into a Do-this board.
- KNOT — canonical conflicts: self vs other, host and scheme clashes.
- GATE — go or no-go proof before you hit Request indexing.
- THINN — thin hubs, split into owner lanes.
- DRIFT — redirect chains into sitemap keep, replace or drop calls.
- ATLAS — robots.txt into the sitemap index and out to every child sitemap: the estate map.
How a run usually goes
- 01Sign in once with your email — a one-tap magic-link, no password.
- 02You land in STORY, or pick a mode from the switcher.
- 03Paste the export, the sitemap URL, or the list of URLs.
- 04Hit Run and let the live checks come back.
- 05Filter to what matters, then export a CSV or a ticket-shaped list.
What we never claim
- No Search Console OAuth and no account access — we never touch your property.
- No invented coverage or indexation proof. Declared is not indexed.
- Public HTTP plus what you paste. That's the whole data set.
- Free forever. Email sign-in exists so we know who's using it, not to sell you anything.
- Zero client fingerprints in any example — synthetic or nikkos.io only.
Where to go next
The sibling notes: GA4 Companion — how it works for the behaviour side, and Tools hub — companions, not a junk drawer for how the two doors fit together.
When you know which mode you need, read its own note: LOCRA, VEXA, RAUM, KNOT, GATE, THINN, DRIFT and ATLAS each have one.
If you want this thinking installed inside your team, the matching service for this category is Open tools.
