What DROP is
DROP is a free GA4 companion for funnels that leak. You paste the steps in order, with the URL for each and where the fall-off happens; DROP checks each step live and names the likely cause.
The drop numbers come from your paste. DROP never invents one and never reads your GA4 account.
What it checks
- Status and final URL after redirects.
- Meta robots noindex.
- Title and H1 count — missing, duplicated, or mismatched against the step.
- Whether the page has a visible call to action and, where relevant, a form.
- Your pasted drop rate or in/out counts for ordering and context.
How we judge
- P0 — the step is broken, redirects away, or has no call to action at all.
- P1 — noindex, thin or duplicated headings, a missing form where one is expected, or a heavy drop on a technically healthy page.
- P2 — the page checks out. Look upstream instead.
Every row carries one lane — UX, Content, Eng or Tracking — so the ticket has a single owner rather than a committee.
How to run a check
- 01Sign in with your email — one-tap link, no password.
- 02Paste up to 10 funnel steps, one per line: step name, URL, drop.
- 03Optionally set an origin so you can paste paths instead of full URLs.
- 04Hit Run, then export the P0 and P1 rows.
Turning results into a ticket
- P0 rows first — a broken or CTA-less step explains most of the fall on its own.
- Tracking-lane rows → run VERA on that step before you trust the drop at all.
- Group the export by lane so each team gets one ticket, not a spreadsheet.
